Privacy policy
Short version: this site does not use cookies, does not track you and does not ask for any personal data.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Fabio Staiano, author of the book. You can write to hello@fabiostaiano.it for anything about your data.
What this site collects
Nothing that you give us directly. The site has no forms, no accounts, no comments and no newsletter sign-up of its own.
There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. Fonts and images are served from this domain, so opening the page does not contact Google Fonts or other external services.
Technical logs
Like every website, the hosting provider that serves these pages records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. These logs are used only to deliver the site and keep it secure, are kept for the short period set by the provider, and are not used to profile you. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Links to other sites
The buttons to buy or read the book lead to Amazon, Packt and O'Reilly. The newsletter lives on fabiostaiano.it, and there are links to LinkedIn, Instagram and GitHub. Once you open those sites, their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Changes
If the site ever adds analytics or a form, this page will be updated first.
